I loved the cleaning standards here. my room was spotless, with a strict policy on cleanliness that I really appreciated. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a full English served right on time, each morning, with a friendly smile that made the meal feel special. The garden area provided a lovely spot to unwind. Though the distance from the city center was a bit far for my liking, I did enjoy the quieter environment away from the hustle. On the downside, the route into town felt quite uninspiring, and I faced some confusion regarding directions, which could easily be solved with a clear map in the room. Aside from that, the overall ambiance felt homely, and Susan was welcoming, creating a pleasant space despite the few inconveniences.

Solo traveler relaxation haven
The full English breakfast each morning was superb,, served exactly at my preferred time,, and it really set a positive tone for the day. I appreciated when the host asked me to take off my shoes at the door,, it felt like I was leaving the chaos of the outside world behind.
It wasn't exactly affordable,,, but for the experience,, it was still reasonable.

The homemade English breakfast was a highlight, offering a tasty start to the day with plenty of options available. The room had impressive amenities, including great decor that added a homey touch.
Still, there were noticeable issues that left a mark on the experience. The parking options were less than ideal, being poorly lit and a bit sketchy. The noise from traffic was bothersome, particularly for those with rooms facing the street. several minor maintenance issues arose, including a stiff shower mechanism and a cramped feeling in the room due to too many furnishings. Walking barefoot in a common shoe area felt a bit unclean, and there were times when towels were missing initially, which could be a hassle. Lastly, the poorly maintained garden view didn't quite match the expectations set by the room decor.

We truly appreciated the exceptional hospitality from the hosts, who were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was not only clean and comfortable, but it also provided a cozy feel that made our stay enjoyable. Daily cleaning kept everything fresh, and we loved that the location was quiet yet easy to find from the station, allowing for a relaxing escape after exploring the area.
The breakfast offered could benefit from a wider selection to cater to varied tastes.

service was excellent , but dining could improve.
The hospitality of Andrew and Susan truly stood out during my stay. The room I booked was not only clean but also checked daily, ensuring everything was fresh. The garden view added a delightful touch, making it a serene spot to relax after a day of exploring.
Sadly, the breakfast selection was quite limited for my tastes.
